Last weekend I had the opportunity to participate in my first relay for life event. It was incredibly moving and quite profound as I gathered with other survivors for the "survivor" lap that kicked off the 24-hour event. I know these events are going on in every community and I truly urge everyone to get involved. The cause is great and the reality is we are all affected by cancer.
