2 years ago today we were told I had cancer. What a journey it has been.

I consider myself blessed and incredibly fortunate as I have seen far too many people unable to beat this disease. I continue to learn so much. And I continue to thank you for your love and support.

Just wanted to share the last few lines of an essay Jordan wrote for Jenna's 5th grade at school. ..."There is a saying,'I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders for which to carry that burden.' This quote has been a source of strength for me throughout this year. It teaches that in life, there is not 'too much,' there is only us and the way we perceive that 'too much.' It is our duty to carry it all, but most importantly, to appreciate it. There is a reason you broaden your shoulders..to learn and to carry more. Because of these people in my life, my shoulders have been broadened. Today, I ask you to think twice about the things you have 'too much' of. Turn it, turn it, turn it again, there is good in it, I promise."

Marla you have set the finest example of finding the good in all that seems "too much." And you continue to inspire us all!!

Chag Sameach!
