Mole No More...

Happy Tuesday,

Yesterday afternoon was my mole removal adventure. The entire process was really quite quick. I didn't feel much except for a little tugging and pressure when the DOC was putting the stitches in. It looks like I have 4 of them and I have been told they will dissolve. Surprisingly, I didn't have to have my head shaved and the 3/4" scar will be hidden nicely in my hair line. I left the office feeling as if I looked like one of the "Yankee Doodle" soldiers with my head bandaged up -- all I needed was a piccolo. Thankfully I was able to take off the bandage this morning.

Great news! I've been looking at the blog very often since yesterday, hoping to hear how the whole process went. I'm not surprised about the no shaving. Fred's last 2 surgeries have been with no head shaving... which is a wonderful thing when so much else is going on.

What is next on your medical agenda? We love you and hope all goes well.

Very good news indeed! "Quick" and "didn't feel much" are definitely two things one likes to hear whenever the word "invasive" is in the picture.

When I was a kid I was in a head vs. playground apparatus collision that resulted in several stitches right on one of my eyebrows. As fate (and luck) would have it, that's about the only spot on my head that still has hair, so no one has ever realized I have this huge scar on my face. Nice to hear that you will have the same benefit, and yet another reason you will have to welcome those wonderful follicles back regardless of color or texture.

Anyway, hope your energy is picking up.

Take care,
Aaron
