Hello All!
Just a quick blog entry (from special guest blogger Mike) to let you know that Marla did GREAT today! Surgery was uneventful -- the Doctor was very happy with the results.
She is currently resting comfortably with some elbow pain (as with the first surgery) and some discomfort in the chest area. And, unfortunately, that darned rash (and itch) have returned. Seems to be related NOT to the antibiotic from last time, but from the newer clotting agent.
But she ate some food tonight and is getting up and about a bit.
Marla will most likely come home on Saturday!
All in all, a very good day!

Hang in there dear Marla...the best is yet to come!! I am done with school/work in 2 weeks and will be anxiously awaiting a lunch/dinner date with you!! Miss you much and can't wait to hug you (gently, of course!)
