What a Workout...

Sully and I had a Wii Sports Bonding session late yesterday afternoon. While he really wanted me to play Lego Indiana Jones with him I respect that that is his special bonding time with Mike and personally I wanted the physicality of bowling, tennis, baseball, golf and boxing. I need Sully to make a new Mii -- one that looks closer to the new me -- sans a full head of hair.
I have to tell you it really is a workout and is so much fun that it doesn't seem like "exercise."

And there is nothing like hearing the crowd roar when you have gotten 8 home runs in a row!

Hey Mar - the boys love making mii's! I like yours, with or without hair. We had a hard time making our uncle Mike a mii, he doesn't have alot on top naturally. We love the bowling, my arm is always sore after. Enjoy your mii and Sully time. We love you! Lis, Robert, Bo & Ty

Hi Marla,

No doubt about it, the Wii is both addictive and exhausting. If you think Wii Sports wears you out, you've got to give WiiFit a try. I thought I was going to end up in traction the first time I did the yoga routine.

I was one one of the lucky few to get one when it first came out thanks to pre-ordering well in advance. If you would like to give it a go, I would be happy to let it spend its summer vacation in beautiful downtown Burbank. It actually seems to enjoy when you walk all over it. :) Seriously, I finally feel like I can do something for you, so let me know if you're interested.

Glad you are sounding strong. Thanks for the info on weSpark and for sharing your writing, which is quite inspirational.

Take care,
Aaron

8 home runs in a row!!!! You have certainly missed your calling...but it is not too late to make the next Spring Training...now is the time to begin your workouts...as though you did not have enough on your plate already.

The Wittner/Tribble Seattle trip was fantastic...and 6 of us are safely back in Tampa. The other 3--Jay, Nancy and Victoria--will be boarding their ship in a couple of hours to get their way to Alaska with Nancy's mom.

We hope and pray that the fatigue/woozy feeling from your # 2Chemo is now a distant memory, and that it is onward and upward from here.

With love...

Marilyn, Fred and Betty

Hi Marla,

First of all, thanks for your advice and support. Your advice about getting my hair cut before surgery was right on the money.

I hope to be joining you soon at We Spark classes and groups.

Gregg and I appreciate your insights in dealing with this process.

Love,
Susan

Dear Marla,

Just got caught up with you,and I absolutely loved your "Unwrapped Present", oh my goodness. I really do hope that at some point, you'll take your writing to the next level, because you are beyond sensational and inspirational.

When can Sully come over and play?
It would be great to have him around. And we have the Wii here, too, Guitar Hero and now Rock Band (oy vay).

Love,
Susan, Larry & Matthew

Hi, I'm Leslie...and I, too, am addicted to my Wii. I actually developed a case of Wii-elbow during an intense home run derby once. The scary thing is that I don't have a kid in the house to blame it on...I actually bought the thing myself!
